Performance appraisal is a method for measuring the results of business operations.It is the basis for restricting and motivating business operators.Some state-owned coal enterprises in China have relatively stable customers,so they often ignore the fierce market competition and the importance of performance appraisal for corporate strategic management,and their existing performance appraisal.There are many problems with the method,such as low matching of performance evaluation content with strategic planning and lack of enthusiasm for employee wage.In order to change this situation and successfully achieve the strategic goals of the enterprise,we must pay attention to the choice of strategic management tools,help managers find ways to improve future operating efficiency from multiple aspects of enterprise management,and make the strategic goals of the company be completed in every coal point of working.This article first learns the theory and concepts of corporate strategic management and performance appraisal tools,and to summarize and comment on domestic and foreign research results.Based on this,the basic situation of the company is investigated by means of interviews.We made in-depth understanding with the current status of the performance appraisal plan,and analyzed the current status of the performance appraisal of the company.Combined with the relevant theoretical knowledge of performance appraisal,the Balanced Score Card(BSC)is selected as the main tool to establish a performance appraisal plan that meets Its strategic goals and management characteristics.In the process of establishment,first of all,the company’s strategic goals were clarified and decomposed.After adding the "safety and environmental " dimension,a five-dimensional BSC was established.The BSC corresponding to the strategic goals was designed in detail.Key performance indicators for each dimension.Finally,in order to complete the improvement of the performance appraisal plan,several safeguard measures are proposed.The improvement of the performance appraisal plan of the certain company is combined with the business characteristics of the enterprise and the actual situation of the operation,which reflects the importance of strategic management of the enterprise and the flexibility of the use of performance appraisal tools.Similar state-owned coal enterprises can improve their performance appraisal or use BSC for strategic management to provide reference.
