With the implementation of China's maritime power plan,the amount of underwater operations has increased,and the demand for efficient underwater cutting methods has greatly increased.As a low cost and high efficient thermal cutting method,underwater core-cutting arc has a broad application prospect.At present,the research on underwater core-cutting arc cutting technology is mainly in fresh water environment.Based on the research on cutting technology in freshwater environment,seawater environment has stronger electrical conductivity than freshwater,and the current loss caused by the electrical conductivity of seawater in the cutting process will affect the cutting efficiency,and the metal parts on the cutting car will increase the current loss in the cutting process.In view of the deficiencies in the above research,it is necessary to study the cutting equipment and process.An improved wire feeding device is developed in this paper due to the phenomenon of electric leakage during cutting in seawater environment and the strong corrosiveness of seawater.The cutting wire,wire feeding motor,wire feeding bracket and integrated circuit are placed in the sealed water tank,Air is pumped into the sealed water tank through air compressor to maintain the pressure balance inside and outside the container,and the strength of the sealed water tank is analyzed by finite element method.The analysis results show that the pressure bearing capacity of the sealed container meets the test design requirements and can realize underwater cutting test under deep water.The strong electrical conductivity of seawater causes some of the current to be lost during cutting.This paper studies the arc cutting technology of core-cutting wire in seawater environment and analyzes the rules of the cutting technology in seawater environment and the similarities and differences of the cutting technology in seawater environment and fresh water environment.First built a shallow underwater cored wire cutting arc cutting system and deep water cutting system,secondly by adding chemicals to simulate seawater to fresh water environment,finally by changing cutting current,arc voltage,the depth of the water cutting parameters,such as design experiment,and the cutting process data are recorded with a hall current,voltage sensor,in cutting process and cutting mouth forming is analyzed.The results show that in seawater environment,due to the strong conductivity of seawater,part of the current will be lost during the cutting process.This current loss may vary depending on how well the cutting equipment is insulated.In the case of well-insulated cutting equipment,the loss of current due to seawater is less,so it can better promote arc burning,make the cutting process more stable,more beautiful cutting mouth shape.However,in the case of improper insulation protection of equipment,due to the large amount of current lost by seawater,the current really used in cutting becomes less,resulting in the phenomenon of not cutting through when cutting with small current,more Bridges,and ugly shape of the lower cutting mouth.Therefore,it is necessary to increase the current and voltage to obtain better cutting quality in deep water seawater environment.In this paper,the research on arc cutting technology of core-cutting wire in seawater environment has farreaching significance for improving the cutting efficiency in seawater environment.
