| In light of the theory and practice of modern design,packaging design,as a type of cultural patterns.has been arising as the mainstream.With the continuous development of economy,the train of thought of Chinese packaging design also begins to put more emphasis on nationalization and individuality.For that reason,the profound connotation of Chinese traditional culture is gradually infused into the design of cigarette packaging.In recent years,a number of excellent design works have contained the elements of traditional Chinese culture,and Chinese Xi(happiness)culture severed as the mainstay in the extensive and profound traditional Chinese culture.On the one hand,to inherit and carry forward Chinese Xi(happiness)culture in the cigarette packaging design can promote the traditional Chinese culture,so that the design would bear the characteristics of Chinese culture,which is not only easy to identify,but also conducive to establish the unique brand culture.On the other hand,the infusion of Chinese Xi culture is of great significance as well for the development of China’s cigarette packaging design.On this basis,this paper has primarily conducted an observation on the infusion of the visual elements: Chinese Xi(happiness)culture in the packaging design of Chinese cigarettes,interpreting Chinese Xi(happiness)culture from a brand new perspective,which would open access for consumers to experience the interaction and integration between the innovative and traditional Chinese Xi(happiness)culture,wherein the national and epoch characteristics are conveyed.This paper has made an in-depth analysis of the current situation and trend of the infusion of the visual elements Chinese Xi(happiness)culture in cigarette packaging design,and sort out the relevant theories of Xi(happiness)culture,expounding the cultural,aesthetic and commercial value of the visual elements Xi(happiness)culture in cigarette packaging design.This paper has firstly generalized the culture property,aesthetic sense and the innovation principles of the infusion of visual elements Xi(happiness)culture in packaging design,as well as the methods and applications of series,innovative and intriguing packaging design.Secondly,the paper has elucidated the infusion of visual elements Xi(happiness)culture in the packaging design of the cigarettes brand Huang Helou(Yellow Crane Tower),which has carried forward the traditional Xi(happiness)culture,and elevated the brand value added to the packaging,to bridge the ancient times and modern world,as well as to elicit the resonance between the products and consumers,demonstrating the characteristics of traditional Chinese culture to the world. |
