Synthesis,Characterization And Magnetic Properties Of Salicylaldehyde-O-Aminophenol Schiff Base Transitionn,Rare Earth Complexes | | Posted on:2019-07-28 | Degree:Master | Type:Thesis | | Country:China | Candidate:B Y Zheng | Full Text:PDF | | GTID:2481305450994119 | Subject:Inorganic Chemistry | | Abstract/Summary: | | | Salicylaldehyde Schiff base ligands are easy to form Schiff base complexes with different metal ions because of their strong coordination ability,such as imino nitrogen atoms and hydroxyl oxygen atoms,and have a place in the coordination chemistry.The applications of rare-earth and transition metal complexes in biopharmaceutical activity,catalytic activity,analytical chemistry,optical materials,electromagnetic properties and so on are more and more extensive.The transition rare earth heteropoluclear Schiff base complexes can fuse the higher ground spin of transition metals with the strong magnetic anisotropy of 4f rare earth ions,and also increase the barrier and blocking temperature of monolayer magnets.It is also possible to change the magnetic exchange pathway of rare earth,which is an important basis for the preparation of magnetic materials Schiff bases synthesized from 3-methyl-ethoxysalicylaldehyde and substituted o-aminophenol are used as ligands to coordinate with some metal ions with magnetic properties and their magnetic properties are studied.The paper is divided into four parts:1.The Schiff base and Schiff base complexes are summarized.The development process of Schiff base transition rare earth complexes and their magnetic properties are introduced.2.Five Schiff base ligands of salicylic aldehydes are prepared and the structures are characterized by IR,UV and 1H NMR,13C NMR.3.Fifteen Schiff base complexes of salicylic aldehydes are prepared.The structures and coordination modes of these complexes are characterized by IR and UV spectra.These complexes include three kinds of mononuclear/multi-nuclear transition metal MnⅡ、NiⅡcomplexes and two kinds of tetranuclear rare-earth metal YbⅢ、TmⅢcomplexes with same semi-closed centrosymmetric cage skeleton structure.There are 10 kinds of heteropolyucleus transition metal and rare-earth Ni-Tb、Ni-Er、Ni-Gd、Ni-Eu、Zn-Eu、Zn-Er、Cd-Tb complexes with semi-closed angular-deficient double cubane configuration.4.The partial transition rare earth heteronuclear complexes were characterized by molecular molar susceptibility(χM),temperature dependent magnetic susceptibility(χMT),magnetic induction intensity and magnetic field intensity. | | Keywords/Search Tags: | Schiff base, Transition rare earth complexes, Magnetic properties | | Related items |
