| Energy saving has great potential to improve the economical benefit in enterprises.It is a necessary prerequisite to develope modern industry.In cosmetics factory the HVAC(Heating,Ventilating and Air Conditioning)system plays a decisive role for the cosmetics quality.If the system failed in operation,the product is unqualified.The cost analysis shows it takes more than 30% in the energy cost of manufacturing,so that it has great energy saving potential.There are some design shortages in HVAC system of Cosmetics Company,such as using the maximum load as the design basis,using constant temperature control mode for chilled water system,the air volume control is not adaptive,low accuracy for workshop temperature control,etc.In this paper the neural network adaptive PID control is used to achieve high accurate workshop temperature for the purpose of energy saving for HVAC.First,the HVAC system components and the working principle of HVAC are described,and the elementary energy consumption is analyzed.An operation model for HVAC is established and the traditional PID control is used.In the adaptive PID control mode with neural network,the feasibility of variable air flow control and variable chilled water flow control for workshop temperature is discussed.Secondly,the components of the adaptive PID control with neural network it analyzed.Then it is applied to the workshop temperature control system to meet the requirement of the workshop temperature,and to reduce the energy consumption of the air flow.The water pump control mode of the chiller water system is also changed.Other than using the temperature difference of the chiller water pump as the input for traditional PID control,it is using the temperature difference of the factory temperature for neural network adaptive PID control.The improvement reduces the energy consumption of the chilled water system.A system simulation is conducted finally.Then the HVAC control system is rebuild based on original hardware and software.The adaptive PID control with neural network is used in the project.The software consists of two parts,the MATLAB program simulation for neural network PID control computation,and the Honeywell EBI monitoring software for field excution.The data exchange is through the ODBC database and the OPC software communication module.The system hardware Honeywell EXCEL5000 performs input and output.The server EBI performs high level calculation.Finally the adaptive PID control with neural network is simulated in MATLAB.Then it is used in the reform project of a cosmetics HVAC system.The system running test shows that it can save energy cost of 5%. |
