In the process of modern economic development,human resources is the first resource,an important connotation of enterprise management lies in the development and management of human resources,and performance management as its core and central,performance management program design is scientific,reasonable and effective,Is the key to the successful operation of the entire human resources management system.No matter how correct the work attitude of the staff,how rich professional knowledge,job skills,how superb,no performance or low performance level,companies can not get more economic benefits.Therefore,the focus of human resource management began to shift to the performance management of employees,while the importance of performance management has also attracted more and more managers' attention.In modern enterprises,there are many kinds of methods of performance management,such as target management,balanced scorecard,KPI,360 degree assessment,benchmarking and so on.The author thinks that the decomposition and set for the target of management by objectives,both close to the strategic goal of the enterprise,but also has high operability;KPI method focus on key performance indicators,can be the key enterprise limited energy is more concentrated in the add value to the organization's strategic goals.Therefore,this paper combines target management method with KPI method,and take the performance management system of W company as an example,to analyze and improve the existing performance management system of W company.
