In the pants pattern,the crotch part is always the blind zone of structure design.Through the combination of Martin measurement and 3D scanning method,this paper takes the relation between female lower body shape and pants as a key starting point to get the human body data characteristics of 40 adult women in 9 different postures,and to analyze the upper crotch changes of waist,abdomen and hip in different positions;through 3D scanning,Reverse Engineering software and CAD software,this paper establishes the mathematical model between the human body crotch bending arc and the crotch structure of pants pattern;through factor analysis and cluster analysis,this paper gets different types of crotch bending shape;after flattening the wire-framed model of women's lower body into two dimensional pattern,this paper obtains an optimized basic pants pattern by virtual fitting to adjust crotch bending arc structure.Women with different body shapes have different crotch structures.This paper reasonably classifies the upper crotch structures to meet the different needs of women for pants;and advanced 3D scanning technology can effectively remedy the limitation of the traditional manual measurement.Based on the data collected by the 3D scanning,this paper further researches on crotch arc structure of women's pants pattern and puts forward a new method for the research status of pants design,which has certain value and significance.
