| The dress is an essential element of female dressing,and its convenience and abundant styles have successfully attracted a great number of female customers.However,the variety of dress styles also comes with numerous requirements and difficulties in pattern design,which includes the main body design,waist design,collar design,sleeves design and also accessory design.Under the research background of fast pattern generating of garment CAD,it’s an efficient method to build a flexible CAD model for dress that improves the developing efficiency and reduces cost of dress.The first part of the study explores the feature analysis of dress style and its pattern design method.The study has taken series of investigation on dress style,selecting a total number of 268 dresses.The dress is analyzed by 4 aspects that includes body shape,collar,sleeves and accessory.After summarizing dress features,the goals of designing pattern models are clearly initialized.In addition,based on the theories of Donoghue prototype pattern design,the paper has built up 10 pattern design experiments of grey sample fitting and 20 pattern design experiments of 3D virtual fitting.The experiment discusses the method of dress pattern design and confirmed the technical viability of adopting 3D virtual fitting software in the dress pattern confirmatory experiment.The second part concentrates on the parameter design of dress pattern design and set up a series of CAD flexible model.The key parameters of dress pattern design are collected,each parameter has been named according to the principle.Furthermore,the paper digitized the pattern design of dress,building 12 body shape models consisted of H body shape,A body shape,O body shape,and X body shape,4 collar models including stand collar and overturned collar,4 sleeve models including one straight sleeve and capped sleeve,and 3 accessory models that include button stay,cuff and neck facing.The suitability of each CAD flexible model has been tested by adjusting different parameters into the experiment.The third part is the experiment of CAD flexibility model combination.30 samples of dress style and 17 body type samples are selected,which made up 31 cross experiment between these samples.After adopting CAD flexible model such as body shape,collar,sleeve and accessory,the pattern design of dress has been completed.Besides this,the 3D virtual fitting experiment is operated on the 3D CLO platform,and real-try experiment is taken through 23 of 31 samples.The study have tested the suitability and high efficiency of the dress CAD flexibility model combination.This study has set up a series of dress pattern CAD flexibility model that can adjust the changes of different style,which provides reliable research backgrounds and experiences to the sustainable research and exploration on fast pattern design in garment area. |
