The identification of important areas of ecosystem service functions is the basis for territorial spatial planning and the construction of ecological civilization.Accurately identifying important areas of ecosystem services can accurately grasp the natural resource endowment,judge the current situation of resources and environment,and realize the sustainable development of natural resources.Mountainous areas have steep slopes,deep valleys and complex and changeable ecosystems.They are one of the main distribution areas of biodiversity hotspots and have extremely high ecological service functions.Yunnan Province is a typical plateau mountain area in my country and one of the 36 biodiversity hotspots in the world,providing my country with extremely high ecosystem service value.This paper uses GIS and RS technology to identify important areas of ecosystem service functions based on the NPP quantitative index method and the In VEST model,and analyzes the applicability of the two methods in the plateau and mountainous areas.Combined with the current situation of natural resources in Yunnan Province,the optimal parameters are selected to realize the localization of the In VEST model.To evaluate the important areas of ecosystem service functions in Yunnan Province,to provide background data and decision-making basis for national land space planning and"three-life space"delineation.the result shows:(1)The NPP quantitative index method is not suitable for plateau mountainous areas with obvious vertical zonal development,but is suitable for large-scale areas with flat topography.The important areas of ecosystem service functions in Yunnan Province identified by the NPP quantitative index method are distributed in the"four highs and two lows"(high NPP,high temperature,high precipitation,high soil seepage,low altitude,and low soil erosion)areas.Identify the presence of global leaks.The evaluation accuracy of the In VEST model is higher than that of the NPP quantitative index method,which makes up for the deficiency of the NPP quantitative index method.(2)The overlapping area between the important areas of ecosystem service functions in Yunnan Province and the national and provincial nature reserves in the province is 16959.63 km~2,accounting for 74.66%of the protected area.The spatial distribution pattern trend is consistent with the ecological protection red line as a whole,and the overlapping area is 75089.67 km~2,accounting for 63.42%of the ecological protection red line.The In VEST model is based on land use data,and there is a cross-distribution of ecological land and non-ecological land,resulting in some nature reserves and ecological protection red lines not being identified as important areas for ecosystem service functions.(3)The area of important areas for ecosystem service functions in Yunnan Province is 168297.62 km~2,accounting for 42.72%of the province's land area.It is dominated by biodiversity maintenance functions.It is the ecological barrier of the southeastern edge of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau in northwest Yunnan,the ecological barrier of Ailao Mountain-Wuliang Mountain in southwestern Yunnan and the ecological barrier of the southern border;the two zones are the dry-hot valley zone,the eastern Yunnan-southeastern Yunnan karst zone;the first zone is the lake waters of the Yunnan Province plateau;Multi-point is an important ecological functional area where other points are distributed in blocks.
