This study area was located in the Qingtoue neighborhood of Xitang Village,Xingping Town,Yangshuo County,Guilin City, which is a typical closed and complete karst peak-cluster depression. The sharp contradiction between man and land and the unreasonable human activities leads to the deterioration of rocky desertification and the decline of karst ecosystem.Used the InVEST model evaluation method and value evaluation method,to evaluate the ecosystem service functions of the study area in 2020,such as carbon storage, water production and soil conservation. This research aims to improve ecosystem service functions, provide scientific bases for the scientific control of rocky desertification, and provide scientific references for the management and planning of related departments. The main conclusions are as follows:(1)The value of ecosystem service functions per unit area was 1,236,500 yuan/ha.The total value of ecosystem service functions was 92.9836 million yuan,of which the proportions of carbon storage, water production and soil conservation were 21.60 %,18.08 % and 60.32 %,respectively. The arbor-bush forest in hillside of steep slope and the arbor-bush forest in hillside of gentle slope were the main components of the value of ecosystem service functions, accounting for 71.32 % of the total value of ecosystem service functions. The ecological forest in hillside of steep slope and the arbor-bush forest in piedmont of steep slope had the best ecological benefits per unit area.In order to maintain and improve the ecosystem service functions of the core scenic spots of the Lijiang River Scenic Area in Guilin and the Guilin Karst World Natural Heritage Site, the arbor-bush forest in hillside of steep slope and the arbor-bush forest in hillside of gentle slope should be protected and controled, and the ecological benefits of the ecological forest in hillside of steep slope and the arbor-bush forest in piedmont of steep slope should be utilized. The carbon storage service and water production service should be improved, and the ecosystem service functions should be weighed.(2)Ecosystem service functions were closely related to rocky desertification.Compared with the current situation(23 % rocky desertification rate),ecosystem service functions were improved under 5 %-20 % rocky desertification rate, and the increase rate was 57.09.This was because that the ecosystem was fragile and sensitive to human activities.Next because karst ecosystem had certain resistance and self-regulation ability with a rocky desertification rate of 25 %-70 %,the ecosystem service functions weaken and the rate of decline was 15.90.In addition, the continuous destruction of humans exceeded the carrying capacity of the ecosystem under 75 %-85 % rocky desertification rate, the function of the ecosystem was lost.So the ecosystem service functions declined, and the decline rate was 51.78.Our results provide theoretical bases for the management of the core scenic area of the Lijiang River Scenic Area in Guilin and the Guilin Karst World Natural Heritage Site.(3)Compared with micro-landforms and slopes, ecosystem service functions had the most significant response to vegetation types.Economic forests, ecological forests, and arbor-bush forests had a large gap in ecosystem service functions value, indicating that different land use patterns had significant impacts on ecosystem service functions.(4)This paper analyzed the differences among the ecological benefits of vegetation types in different environmental factors. The results showed that from the perspective of micro-topography,ecological forests had the best ecological benefits in hillsides and arbor-bush forests had the best ecological benefits in piedmont and depressions. Moreover, from the perspective of slope, ecological forests had the best ecological benefits on steep slopes and arbor-bush forests had the best ecological benefits on gentle slopes. These conclusions will have guiding significance for the improvement of ecosystem service functions peak-cluster depression in karst.
