Based on the local urban heat island observation experiment in Guangzhou, this thesis uses the building energy simulation software Open Studio to study the impact of the local urban heat island effect on building energy consumption.Firstly, the theory system of Local Climate Zones(LCZ),which divides the city into 10built-up areas and 7 natural environment areas with a total of 17 basic regional types according to different morphological characteristics of the urban underlying surface.A total of 7 experimental measurement points in LCZ1,2,3,4,5,8 and LCZD were selected in Guangzhou(including the suburban LCZD as the observation reference point)for long-term temperature observation experiments, and the whole year of 2021(2021.1.1-12.31)data to provide simulated meteorological data for the following research on local urban heat island on building energy consumption. There are obvious and stable differences in the heat island intensity among different LCZs in Guangzhou, which will have different impacts on building energy consumption.Secondly, replace the original EPW files with the temperature and humidity data of different LCZs,and generate 7 new EPW meteorological files, which are used as the external climate conditions to simulate the energy consumption of high-rise,multistorey and low-rise residential buildings. The results show that:(1)the local urban heat island effect has a significant impact on building energy consumption. The greater the heat island intensity, the greater the cooling energy demand and the less heating energy demand.(2)Annual cumulative energy consumption per unit area: high-rise(shear wall structure)>low-rise(masonry structure)>multistorey building(frame structure),which shows that in residential buildings, the frame structure is more energy-efficient.And the multistorey building is more affected by the local climate, and the cooling/heating energy consumption is significantly higher/lower than the suburban LCZD.In addition to the impact of external factors(local urban heat island)on building energy consumption, this thesis also studies the impact of internal design factors(thermal parameters)on building energy consumption. Finally, the simulation scheme is designed by the orthogonal test method, and four factors, such as the heat transfer coefficients of different roofs, exterior walls, and windows, and the solar heat gain coefficient(SHGC)of exterior windows, are selected to simulate the energy consumption of typical buildings. The results show that the influence of each factor on the cooling energy consumption per unit area is significantly ranked as follows: external wall heat transfer coefficient >roof heat transfer coefficient >solar heat gain coefficient >external window heat transfer coefficient;the influence of each factor on the heating energy consumption per unit area is significant ranked as follows: external window heat transfer coefficient >external wall heat transfer coefficient >roof heat transfer coefficient>solar heat gain coefficient.
