Rapid urbanization has led to dramatic changes in the morphology and surface properties of urban areas,creating unique climatic features that have led to the urban heat island effect.The negative impact of the urban heat island effect is further exacerbated by global warming and the frequency of high temperature heat wave events.Local climate zone(LCZ)is an effective way to study the urban thermal environment.In this study,the high-precision LCZ distribution map is obtained using a multi-data support system,and the relationship between urban thermal environment characteristics and the climatic background is analyzed using MODIS surface temperature products,as well as the spatio-temporal variation of LCZ in thermal environment characteristics and energy consumption levels under different climatic backgrounds.The conclusions are as follows:(1)The spatial distribution of urban surface temperature in different climatic contexts shows a state of agglomeration,the degree of agglomeration being strongly influenced by the climatic background and season.In summer,LST in climatic regions I,II,and VII show a strong concentration trend,while those in climatic regions III,IV,and V show a weak concentration trend;in winter,LST in climatic regions VI show a strong concentration trend,while those climatic regions in the rest show a weak concentration trend.(2)The urban thermal environment is significantly affected by the climatic background,but there are seasonal differences.The correlation between the heat island effect and the climatic background is strong in summer with a correlation coefficient of 0.697 and weak in winter with a correlation coefficient of 0.122.(3)The thermal environment characteristics of the LCZ as a whole exhibit higher building cladding LCZ(LCZ1-10)than natural cladding LCZ(LCZA-G),but the magnitude of the difference varies significantly with seasonal influences,with higher summer temperature differences than winter temperature differences.LCZs' thermal environment is influenced by climatic background: LCZ1 has the strongest correlation with climatic background in summer with a correlation coefficient of 0.964,LCZB has the weakest correlation with climatic background with a correlation coefficient of-0.036,LCZA has the strongest correlation with climatic background in winter with a correlation coefficient of 0.536,LCZ4-6 and LCZ9-10 have the weakest correlation with climatic background with a correlation coefficient of 0.048.(4)The climatic background is the main factor influencing the energy consumption level in the city,but in areas where the climatic background is less different,the energy consumption can be reduced through the LCZ layout control,which can ideally bring about a reduction in energy consumption level of 0.935-6.853?days per unit area.
