China’s economy has developed rapidly and the floating population in various regions has become increasingly active since the reform and opening up.There are data showing that the scale of population migration in China has increased dramatically.The fifth census data shows that the number of floating population is 121 million in 2000.The total migrant population in China reached 236 million in 2019.China has entered the era of great population migration.The study found that fixed asset investment,per capita GDP,tertiary industry added value,regional GDP,fiscal expenditure,real estate development investment and wage levels are economic factors that affect the floating population.Urban registered unemployment rate,number of employed persons,number of employed persons in the tertiary industry and urban employee pension insurance as employment factors are influencing factors.The number of health personnel,passenger traffic,food production,residential sales prices and consumption levels are the livelihood factors and the influencing factors.Moran index analysis shows that the floating population has strong spatial autocorrelation.According to the GWR model,various related factors have different influences and even opposite effects on population flow in different geographical locations.Therefore,it is necessary not only to pay attention to the applicability of the driving factors of population mobility in the province,but also to fully identify the spatial heterogeneity of each influencing factor when formulating relevant policies.According to the influencing factors of each city,relevant policies shall be formulated according to local conditions.
