WebGIS is the product of the combination of GIS technology and Internet technology.It uses the network to publish dynamic geographic information,realize resource sharing,improve the utilization rate of information resources,and provide users with functions such as spatial data browsing and query.Based on the investigation of crop simulation technology,WebGIS,and corn yield forecasting technology,this paper uses the World Food Research Crop Simulation Model(WOFOST)and WebGIS to forecast corn yield in Yulin area.Combined with database technology,a WebGIS-based corn yield forecasting system is constructed.Completed the following tasks:(1)The research status of yield forecasting model and yield forecasting method at home and abroad was investigated in detail,and the overall design of the WebGIS corn yield forecasting system was planned.A corn yield prediction method based on WOFOST model was constructed.The actual corn yield and forecast value of Yulin City from 2015 to 2020 were compared through experiments.The results show that the relative error between the predicted value and the actual output is about ±2% to ±4%,which meets the design requirements.(2)Implement the data constraint design of the corn yield prediction system.Convert the E-R diagram of the system built in the conceptual design stage into a logical structure supported by the developed yield forecasting system.Create data tables,develop yield forecasting database,and optimize data parameter settings.It solves the problems of large amount of crop yield forecast data and difficulty in sharing,which facilitates data integration and reduces data redundancy.Through the research,it is expected to solve the limitation,complexity and lag of traditional corn yield prediction technology.Combining WOFOST and WebGIS technology to develop a new yield forecasting system to provide a basis for functional departments to implement corn yield forecasting statistics and management regulation.
