As a new type of multi-eye vision camera,the light field camera can record the position and direction information of the light radiation in space at the same time through a single capture.Different from the imaging principle of traditional cameras,light field cameras place a microlens array between the main lens and the image sensor for imaging.The imaging model and parameter calibration methods of light field cameras are the theoretical basis and key links for expanding light field applications,and have become a research hotspot in the field of light field calculations.However,due to the limitation of its own imaging technology and characteristics,the imaging model and calibration of the light field camera have the problems of error and low accuracy.Therefore,this paper has carried out research and experiment around the imaging model and calibration method of the light field camera.The main work of the paper is as follows:1.Starting from the small hole imaging model and the thin lens model,the physical meaning of each parameter in the biplane model of the light field camera is explained and analyzed in detail,as well as the derivation process of the initial value acquisition method in the calibration process.Use the light field camera Lytro Illum to collect the original light field data,obtain the white image of the camera and locate the center of the microlens array,analyze the original light field data and synthesize the multi-view sub-aperture image,and analyze the characteristic points of the sub-aperture image under different viewing angles,The accurate geometric model of the light field camera is parametrically expressed,which lays the actual physical foundation for the modeling of the light field camera.2.Improved the method of distortion correction in the light field camera calibration.According to the internal and external parameters obtained by the camera calibration initialization,the radial distortion and tangential distortion of the main lens are introduced into the light field camera model,and nonlinear optimization is performed to obtain the final optimization result.,Improve the accuracy of light field camera calibration.And through experiments to verify the effectiveness of the algorithm.
