Light field camera is a new camera structure that inserts a microlens array in front of the image sensor.It not only captures the position of the light in the space,but also captures the direction information of the light.This special optical structure determines its novel features different from traditional cameras,such as full-focus imaging,refocus imaging,multi-view imaging,synthetic aperture imaging,de-turbulent imaging,depth estimation,wavefront detection,etc.For different applications such as macro,close and medium scene,how to break through the structural limitations of traditional light field cameras,design the optimal combination of parameters to meet the resolution requirements,and calculate point cloud data with real dimensions is the focus of this paper.The main work of this paper is as follows:1.The similarities and differences between the working principle of the light field camera and the traditional camera are compared and analyzed.The working range and working precision of the light field camera are discussed in detail.A novel focused light field camera structure with four type's focal lengths is proposed and analyzed.2.The theoretical model of lateral resolution and depth resolution is established,and the structure design of the multi-focus focused light field camera with four type's focal lengths was carried out.For the four types focal lengths focused light field camera,the simulation using the ray tracing model was carried out.The results show that the theoretical analysis is in good agreement with the simulation calculations.3.The decoding algorithm and principle of light field camera are discussed,including depth estimation,computational imaging,refocusing,etc.At the same time,corresponding experiments are carried out to verify the effectiveness of the algorithm.4.The three-dimensional distortion model of the focused light field camera is constructed.The complete calibration process of the light field camera is given.The experimental results are verified by the self-developed light field camera.The results show that the calibration algorithm meets the requirements of 3D point cloud reconstruction.The innovation of this paper is to propose a novel structure of focused light field camera with its MLA with hexagonal arrangement and four types focal lengths,and establish a generalized multi-focus structure parameter optimization model for threedimensional resolution and compiled parameter design software,which improves the design flexibility of the light field camera and increases the depth of field and maintains the lateral resolution.
