Study On The Alien Plants In Jiangxi Province,China

With the development of the global economy and the frequent trade between countries,the flow of plants in different regions becomes more convenient,which is conducive to the roots,germinations,and reproduction of alien plants in regions outside the origin.Due to the superior growing environment and the lack of natural enemies,some alien plants can expand and become invasive species,which have a serious impact on the introduced ecological environment,human health,and economic development,such as hindering the economic development of agriculture,forestry,animal husbandry,sidelining and fishery industries,and reducing biodiversity.The prevention and control of alien species have become a worldwide ecological problem that researchers,government departments,and international organizations attach great importance to.In recent years,the number of alien plants in Jiangxi Province has been increasing.Rich in plant resources and has a superior environment suitable for plant growth.Because part of the alien plant invasive will negatively impact on the ecological environment and economic development,to know the number of alien plants in Jiangxi province,the growth dynamics,distribution characteristics,and the invasion is particularly important.It will save the ecological environment management department to make scientific measures for the management of alien plants and alien plants introduction policy,prevention systems and alien plants to build early warning mechanism,etc.Provide strong data support;At the same time,it is also helpful to update and improve the data of species and distribution of alien and invasive plants in China,which will provide an important reference for further deepening and broadening the research depth and scope of alien plants.In this paper,the quantity,number and level of alien plants and alien invasive plants,and the spatial distribution of alien invasive plants in various prefecture-level cities in Jiangxi Province were investigated and analyzed.To improve the background data of exotic plants in Jiangxi Province,the sduty on alien plants in Lushan Botanical Garden and Gannan Arboretum.Found in the process of field investigation,the invasion of China in the fourth batch of the invasive list included Solanum myriacanthum Dunal in Jiangxi province in small parts distribution,but the invasion is not serious,did not cause the attention of the relevant administrative department.After the literature review found that the environment is an important factor affectting plant growth,but the species suitable environment research is less,so in this article,different light environment on its seed germination and growth makes a preliminary study.Based on the analysis of the causes of alien plants and alien invasive plants,appropriate suggestions are put forward for the introduction,management,and safety risk prevention and control of alien plants.The main research conclusions are as follows:1.599 alien plants belonging to 105 families and 407 genera are recorded in Jiangxi.Asteraceae serves as the most dominant family(85 species,14.19%),next is Fabaceae(52species,8.68%);species within 91 families are under 10 and account for 86.67% in total families.The alien species in Jiangxi mainly came from American(49.25%),followed by those with Asian origins(20.8%)and Europe was third(13.81%),but fewer of them were introduced from the Mediterranean and Oceania.Herbs are prevalent among alien plants,arbors are the next,and are endemic in Lushan Botanical Garden and Gannan Arboretum.The alien species were mainly introduced for ornamental,feed,and medicinal purposes.267 invasive plants in 53 families and 168 genera were recorded in Jiangxi.Jiujiang,Ganzhou,and Nanchang have been invaded seriously due to their advantageous geographical position and economic status.2.447 alien plants belonging to 89 families and 309 genera are recorded in Lushan,69 species are within Asteraceae as the most dominant family,accounting for 15.4% of the total.According to the life types,there were 289 herbaceous species,accounting for about64.7%,followed by 83 arbor species,accounting for about 18.6%.According to the origin:the largest number of species are produced in America,178 species,accounting for about39.82%;Asia is the next 106 species,accounting for about 23.7%;73 species in Europe,accounting for 16.3%,55 species in Africa,accounting for 12.3%,and few plants in Mediterranean and Oceania,accounting for less than 6%.Most alien plants are mostly introduced for ornamental.3.To compare the effects of different light intensities on seed germination,plant structure,biomass accumulation,and biomass allocation,light response experiments were carried out by controlling the light intensity of Cassianea cassia.Three shading nets with different densities were used to construct three environments with different light intensity levels,and another full light group was set as the control group for observation and measurement.The results showed that the plant structure and morphology were weakened with the decrease of light intensity,and the seed germination potential was great.4.Suggestions for the prevention and control management of alien plants in Jiangxi Province were provided: establishing the invasion risk assessment system;Improving relevant legislation and strengthening the supervision of exotic plants;Strengthenning public publicity and education;Strengthening cooperation and establishing a linkage mechanism to prevent alien invasive plants.
