In the longer geological process,continuously or slowly or rapidly undergoing soil erosion from surface the earth.With the increase of global population and grain demand,the living conditions and living standards are constantly increasing,and the soil erosion rate is further inprove,brought A series of environmental problems,it seriously threatened the sustainable development of resources-environment-socio-economy,and have gradually attracted great attention from the government and the country.China,one of the countries with the most severe soil erosion in the world,is featured by complicated reasons,wide distribution range,the large amount of erosion,high erosion intensity,and serious damage.Therefore,it is a difficult task to prevent and control soil erosion and meanwhile,it is imperative for the country to conduct research on it.According to data of meteorological station,multi-temporal remote sensing,soil,and ecological environment background,this article,taking small watersheds as a unit,is to establish a land use database and a soil erosion database,based on multidisciplinary theories and methods such as soil and water loss,soil science,geomorphology,remote sensing technology,WebGIS technology,and database(Microsoft SQL Server)technology.At the basin scale,the paper,guided by the Chinese Soil Loss Equation,is to develop a watershed erosion assessment system based on WebGIS on the basis of platforms of My Eclipse and ArcGIS Server.The main research contents are as follow:(1)To collect and sort spatial and attribute data related to hydraulic erosion in Xinjiang,standardize coding and database construction according to relevant standards,and carry out the management of spatial and attribute data of hydraulic erosion through ArcGIS platform and SQL Server database technology.(2)To calculate modulus of soil erosion based on knowledge of soil erosion and CSLE model,to gain evaluation model of hydraulic erosion by Java and JavaScript languages as well as calculation modules for each factor of the model,and then connect thematic modules and achieve a high degree of integration of system with the watershed as a unit and various functional modules integrated.(3)In accordance with WebGIS technology,to realize online query,upload and download of spatial and attribute data of hydraulic erosion and then make full use of them to share hydraulic erosion data online.Finally,this article describes the implementation process of the system in detail,including the system design and the realization of the main functions of the process and the display of the system operation effect diagram,and the system is tested and summarized.
