In the face of the basic national conditions of rapid aging and few children in families,the social pension needs of the elderly are gradually increasing.Due to the long winter,extremely low temperature and high wind speed in severe cold regions of China,severe natural conditions seriously limit the time of outdoor activities of the elderly in winter.As an important factor affecting the outdoor feeling of human body,site wind speed is directly affected by the architectural layout.The large-scale elderly buildings with high quality of outdoor activities are mostly in the form of group,so this paper chooses the elderly building group as the research object.This paper designs the classification model of the layout mode of large-scale elderly building groups.Through the simulation and analysis of the site wind environment,it puts forward the appropriate layout strategy of the elderly building groups,aiming to improve the outdoor activity quality of the elderly.At present,domestic researches on wind environment mostly focus on the climate background of a city,but lack of comparative study on different wind field types of cities in the whole region.Different from other building types,the number of large-scale elderly building groups in specific cities is less,so the comparative study of multi city types is of great significance.This paper innovatively combines the traditional urban planning theory of urban wind field classification with CFD wind environment simulation technology,and applies it to the outdoor wind environment research of elderly building group.Taking "assessment standard for green building " as the main numerical evaluation index and referring to the multi wind direction weighted average idea of NEN8100 Standard,the wind environment simulation and evaluation of building model are carried out by using CFD software ANSYS fluent and python programming image processing technology.The site wind comfort of elderly building layout mode is discussed in cities with different wind field types in severe cold regions.At present,there are few examples of excellent old-age building groups built in severe cold regions,and the existing domestic research lacks systematic carding and in-depth analysis of this building type.In this paper,based on the examples of elderly building groups in northern China,combined with some cases in Japan as a supplement,71 typical cases are selected,and three types of layout patterns of elderly building groups suitable for cold cities are proposed,including linear form,courtyard form and linking form.Through the analysis of building function and streamline characteristics,the three types of elderly building groups are subdivided into 24 abstract models for functional and applicability analysis,which are the basis of the later simulation study.According to the climate conditions in severe cold regions,the weight of winter and summer is determined as 2:1,and five urban models are proposed as orthogonal wind direction monsoon city,oblique wind direction monsoon city,single dominant orthogonal wind direction city,single dominant oblique wind direction city,and no dominant wind direction city.The appropriate boundary conditions are selected in CFD software for simulation.According to the simulation results of the abstract model of 24 elderly building groups under five kinds of urban conditions,the appropriate layout strategies of elderly building groups are proposed for different wind field types of cities.
