As fiber laser technology continues to mature and output power continues to increase,its application areas are expanding.In some applications where the beam is transmitted over a long distance,it is desirable that the collimator of the fiber laser can image the target while outputting high power to ensure that the laser emitted by the collimator can be accurately transmitted to the target.In order to meet the needs of this application,the concept of transceiver integrated fiber collimator has been proposed.However,due to the difficulty in the development of the device,so far,it is still in the exploration and research.Aiming at the above problems,this paper proposes a fiber-optic image beam-based transceiver integrated fiber collimator scheme,which replaces the transmitting fiber or fiber end cap in the current common fiber collimator with a fiber-optic image beam with laser emission function.The image beam consists of a centrally located laser emitting fiber and a large number of imaging fibers around it.The central fiber is used for the laser emission,and the other end face of the surrounding imaging fiber is connected the photodetector achieves the target imaging,and the other end of the central laser is connected to the fiber laser for laser output.Based on the above schemes,this paper comprehensively considers the requirements of transmitting and detecting optical paths,and theoretically deduces the relationship between the focal length of the collimating lens,the size of the emitted beam,the field of view of the imaging field and the resolution.the above conclusions provide guidance for device design and experimental research?In key device development and experimental research,in this paper,"18+1"fiber optic image beam with laser emission were developed using fiber-optic combiner weak taper technology and,secondly,the imaging detection circuit and image display circuit were developed.Subsequently,based on the above mentioned devices,an experimental study on the transceiver integrated optical fiber collimator was carried out to verify the feasibility of the proposed scheme.The experimentally measured field of view of the collimator is about 0.1206°,and the resolution is about 5×10-4m.By combining the existing large array element fiber optic image beam assembly technology,the imaging field of view and resolution of the transceiver fiber collimator will be greatly improved.
