The rapid development of The Times has led to the constant adjustment of the industrial structure of the city, and the existing industrial buildings in the industrial period have been abandoned and left idle.In recent years, although the transformation of existing industrial buildings has increased, most of them still adopt the traditional function replacement transformation mode, lacking the transformation consciousness combining with the green concept, which leads to the problems of poor indoor comfort and large energy consumption of the transformed buildings.Under the background of vigorously promoting the construction of green buildings in China, corresponding standards and policies have been introduced for the green reconstruction and reuse of existing buildings. Therefore, green transformation of existing industrial buildings has become a hot topic in current research. At present, the existing research on green transformation of industrial buildings mainly focuses on the performance improvement of envelope structure and the application of technical equipment, but pays less attention to the spatial organization and shape optimization of buildings.Combined with the development trend of current design and climate, this paper, from the perspective of climate adaptability, puts forward corresponding green transformation strategies for the existing industrial building's body space. So as to achieve the existing industrial building space environment of high comfort and low energy consumption of the dual goals.Firstly, this paper analyzes the climate characteristics, the general situation of the existing industrial buildings, the building characteristics and the transformation status quo of the existing industrial buildings in Inner Mongolia, and obtains the existing problems of the transformation of the existing industrial buildings in the region. Then, the regulation principle, influencing factors and architectural practice of climate adaptation theory are analyzed, and the research Angle of climate adaptation is established with spatial form as the core, and the three levels of site layout, architectural space and architectural interface are divided.Combined with the original characteristics of the existing industrial buildings mentioned above, the correlation between climate factors and the renovation of the existing industrial buildings was excavated, and three correlation levels were obtained: site layout optimization with microclimate regulation as the main factor, building space adjustment with energy management as the main factor, and building interface update with climate regulation as the main factor.Next, through field research and literature reading, this paper interprets the transformation practices of existing industrial buildings in different climate zones in three aspects in detail, summarizes and analyzes the cases, and extracts the reference points. Finally, according to the climate characteristics of Inner Mongolia, three transformation principles of adaptation to local conditions, overall coordination and technological suitability of existing industrial buildings are obtained.Based on these principles, the climate adaptation transformation strategies of site layout, building space and building interface buffer are put forward. At the same time, the climate adaptation strategy of Xinyuan Chemical Plant in Wuhai City,Inner Mongolia was proposed.Innovation point of this paper is to make both the industry to be able to return to the green building construction design of the ontology level, through the transformation of architectural space themselves,to achieve the use and regulation of natural climate, fully tap the energy conserving potential of the building itself, reduce the number of active technology in the late added, while create a comfortable indoor environment, reduce building energy consumption. The research of this paper has theoretical contribution and practical application value for the green reconstruction of existing industrial buildings.
