Ascid mite is a potential biological control resource with abundant species,diverse habitats and wide distribution.Most of the species are predatory.Ascidae consists of 43 genera with 964 known species worldwide,and 14 genera with 127 known species China,accounting for 13.17%of the world total.There are 32 species and 13 genera are herein described in Ascidae,of which 22 species are new to science,two genera and one subgenus and four species are firstly recorded from China,one genus is firstly recorded from Oriental region China,and 10 re-described species.The dorsal and ventral features of the 32 species were photographed,and the comparative morphological study were made on the epistome and ventral shield of 13 genera,as well as the gland and poroids of two species in two genera,in order to find out their value in interspecific classification and identification.The taxa new to science or to China are listed as follows.1 TaxonmicsArrhenoseius hallidayi Long&Yi,2020Arrhenoseius granulatus Long&Yi,2020Arrhenoseius subfenghuangensis sp.nov.Antennoseius(Vitzthumia)heterochaetus Long&Yi,2021Antennoseius(Antennoseius)ovalis sp.nov.Antennoseius(Antennoseius)unicus sp.nov.Asca guizhouensis Jiang&Jin,2015Asca tumour sp.nov.Arctoseius chinensis sp.nov.Arctoseius separatus sp.nov.Blattisocius dentriticus Berlese,1918Blattisocius lanceus sp.nov.Cheiroseius brevivermis Karg,1998Cheiroseius bifurcus sp.nov.Gamasellodes subadrianae sp.nov.Gamasellodes rectiventris Lindquist,1971Iphidozercon subcorticalis sp.nov.Iphidozercon wukongi sp.nov.Iphidozercon asetus sp.nov.Iphidozercon spineus sp.nov.Iphidozercon caspius Hajizadeh,Mortazavi&Nazari,2014Lasioseius trifuricpilus Gu&Guo,1996Lasioseius circillatus sp.nov.Orthadenella multidentatus sp.nov.Orthadenella pulchella sp.nov.Platyseius oligochaetus sp.nov.Proctolaelaps imbricatus sp.nov.Proctolaelaps deleoni Nawar,Childers&Abou-Setta,1991Proctolaelaps xingrenensis sp.nov.Zerconopsis clavasetosus sp.nov.Zerconopsis multiremiger sp.nov.2.Comparative morphological studyIn this study,the comparative morphology of tectum,dorsal shield,dorsal chaetotaxy,venter shield and chaetotaxy,lyrifissures and dermal glands were carried out.It was found that the morphological characteristics of tectum,dorsal shield shape and chaetotaxy,the number of anal shield setae and the position of reproductive setae st5 could be used as applicable diagostic characteristics of genus.The shape of dorsal shield,dorsal chaetotaxy and venter shield shape can be used as interspecific classification and identification.The glandular pore and lyrifissures have no value in classification and identification.
