A Tourist Feedback-Based Study Into Current Situation Of Science Tourism In Mt.Sanqingshan And The Countermeasures

As a world geopark,Sanqing Mountain possesses rare geological relics of special scientific significance and is combined with other natural and cultural landscapes in the region.The establishment of the scenic spot not only promotes the development of the local economy and culture but also has the special mission of protecting geological relics,developing scientific tourism,and popularizing earth science knowledge.This paper refers to the concept of geopark popular science education,summarizes and extracts relevant materials at home and abroad,sorts out and selects the research results of practice base,geopark,research travel,and other related materials,and extracts valuable views on Sanqing Mountain popular science tourism.This paper selects the comments of 1820 tourists of Sanqing Mountain from Dianping during October 2019 to October 2020 and 500,000 words of news copy released by Shangrao Municipal Government and Sanqing Mountain Scenic Spot Management Committee during the same period.It adopts Python for information collection,ROST CM06,Excel,and other data analysis tools to conduct quantitative analysis on the comments.Descriptive statistical analysis is used to analyze tourist samples to understand the composition of tourists.Through the analysis of tourists' overall perception,the tourists' perception of each evaluation index is understood.Through the comparison with the official propaganda information projected by the government,the factors that greatly affect the tourists' overall perception of popular science tourism in Sanqing Mountain are understood.Through the analysis of the different factors,relevant improvement strategies are put forward.The research found five main problems under below: the popularization of science tourism in Sanqingshan focuses on the group study of primary school students and the development of related professional geological research base,the popularization of scientific knowledge for the public has not yet been implemented;The popular science tourism routes created by Sanqing Mountain Management Committee have not been applied in actual tourism: Sanqing Mountain has not carried out enough popular science tourism activities for the public tourists,and the tour guides have not played a role in publicizing earth knowledge.The popular tourism experience is mainly based on beautiful scenery or Taoist culture,and the popular science function of the scenic spot has not been fully fulfilled.Tourists' real perception of scenic spots differs greatly from official projected images.Based on the results of quantitative analysis,combining with the conditions and characteristics of Sanqingshan World Geopark,referring to the ideas of tourism development of the government and its sister world Geo-parks,as well as the requirements of tourism development,this paper puts forward the optimization strategy of popular science tourism of Sanqingshan Geopark.First,it is clear that the public tourists are the main tourist source of Sanqingshan,to create popular science tourism products suitable for the public.Second,the way of popularizing popular science knowledge to the public should be combined with the six elements of tourism,namely,"Food,Accommodation,Traveling,Entertainment and Shopping".Third,focus on the implementation and promotion of the existing popular science tourism products,improve the overall impression of Sanqing Mountain popular science tourism.
