There are many situations in economic development involving the distribution of benefits. For example, the manufacturer's pricing and the market price of the product are fixed, which results that the profit shared by the wholesaler and the retailer is also fixed. We assume that the wholesaler has the right to set the price. If the retailer accepts the price, the two parties will reach a deal and get profits respectively. If the retailer does not accept the price, the two parties cannot work together, and there is no profit. Therefore, their relationship is both cooperative and competitive in some extent. In fact, this is a classic ultimatum game. This paper will mainly explore the relationship between the two sides of the game(namely proposer and responder)is consistent or opposite in the process of benefit distribution.Furthermore, there are often multiple wholesalers and retailers in a market. Therefore,we will discuss how the disclosure of their profit distribution information will affect the relationship between the two players and whether the cooperation between them can be enhanced. Most of the previous researches on ultimatum game only focus on the process or the result of distribution, and few of them involve the essential relationship between the two sides.Firstly, this paper adopts the behavioral experiment method and makes the subjects repeat the ultimatum game experiment for 20 rounds to study the relationship between proposers and responders.Secondly, the paper discusses the influence of behavioral information disclosure mechanism on the behaviors of the two players. Finally,a simulation model is built to verify the reliability of the probability distribution of proposer's offer and responder's acceptance. The experimental and simulation results show that:(1)There is a strong positive correlation between the payoffs of proposers and responders, and the payoffs of the proposers were approximately equal to responders',indicating that the proposers and responders are consistent.(2)The proposers' offers and payoffs were significantly and positively correlated, indicating that the proposers who are considerate of others tend to have higher returns.(3)Action information disclosure increases the benefits of both proposers and responders.Meanwhile,it still ensures that the payoffs of the proposers were approximately equal to the responders',indicating that action information disclosure can improve the efficiency of resource allocation without damaging fairness.(4)The above results were robust which could be replicated when the number of rounds is at least 3.(5)The distribution of proposers' offers and responders' acceptances obtained from our experiments is reliable.
