Chishui Alsophila National Nature Reserve is a national nature reserve for a ascosporarum plantarum—Alsophila spinulosa, which is located in Hushi Town,Chishui City in the north of Guizhou Province.Additionally,as one of the main scenic spots in Chishui City, this reserve has high oxygen content, temperature and humidity.Due to the strong ecological environment protection, the primitive ecology is well preserved.Through field sampling and specimen collection of bryophytes in this reserve,a total of nearly 3,000 bryophyte specimens were obtained.there are 565 bryophytes species belonging to 168 genera,66 families, among which are mosses including 38 families,123 genera,398 species, liverworts including 27 families,44 genera,166 species, horewort including 1 families,1 genera,1 species. In addition, the species composition of bryophytes in this reserve was analyzed, there are 12 dominate families and 13 dominate genera in here and there are many monotypic families and oligotypic species, which shows that this area is obviously particular and complex for bryophytes living.By comparing the bryophyte species list in this reserve with the Threatened Species List of China's Higher Plants,3 endangered(EN)and 3 vulnerable(VU)bryophytes were found in this reserve.Furthermore, according to the habitat analysis of bryophytes in this reserve, bryophytes were widely distributed and habitat types were diverse in this reserve.Based on the matrix characteristics of habitats, five types of macrohabitats were divided, including 15 microhabitats. The cross comparison in the data of the five types of macrohabitats, and the Venn diagrams of species distribution in each habitat using the Venn Diagram package of R language software demonstrated 5bryophytes distributed in each type of habitat, suggesting high adaptability to this reserve. There were numerous types of stony habitats in this reserve, covering 79.29% of the total types, which is in line with the environmental characteristics of the vertical growth of rocks in this reserve. The distribution of bryophyte species in this reserve,as a typical Danxia landform area in Guizhou, was compared with that in Karst landform area, which presented that stony habitats were dominant for bryophytes in both landform areas, but the species distribution in stony habitats was different. Finally, according to the analysis of the floristic elements of bryophytes in this reserve, the floristics could be divided into 13 types,of which East Asia elements had the largest proportion, followed by tropical elements.Among the tropical elements, many species were distributed in tropical Asian elements, accounting for 42.18% of the tropical elements. No significant difference was found between the temperate and tropical components, and the north temperate elements showed the most species, which was obviously dominant There were 54 species of bryophytes distributed in Chinese endemic elements of this reserve, accounting for a certain proportion. The principal component analysis of floristic elements in this reserve and other 15 areas screened based on latitude from high to low demonstrated that floristic elements in this reserve were the most closely related to the floristic geographical elements of the Dabashan Mountain Nature Reserve,Chongqing, while the most distantly related to the Wulashan National Forest Park.
