Comparative Study On Technical Efficiency Of Banana Industrial Organization In Hainan Based On Farmers' Perspective

Farmers,family farms,professional cooperatives,agricultural enterprises and other agricultural industrial organizations together constitute the main body of agricultural business in our country.At present,the banana industry organization in Hainan is still dominated by banana growers.With the country's increased support for family farms and cooperatives,banana growers have expanded their planting area and created banana family farms.Banana growers and banana family farms have joined the cooperative.New models of banana industry organization such as cooperatives + farmers,cooperatives + family farms have emerged.Various banana industrial organizations are inseparable from the participation of farmers.From the perspective of farmers,what are their technical efficiency,which banana industrial organization has the highest technical efficiency,whether the banana industrial organization's investment in production factors is reasonable,and whether the business scale of the banana industrial organization is optimal is a problem that needs to be solved.The purpose of this study is to measure the technical efficiency of Hainan banana industrial organization from the perspective of farmers,to compare the technical efficiency of different banana industrial organizations,and to put forward policy suggestions to promote the development of Hainan banana industry.First of all,combing the relevant literature at home and abroad,this study can draw on ideas and methods,in view of the current situation of domestic and foreign research,find the starting point of this study.Then,the paper defines the concepts of banana growers,banana family farms,cooperatives+ farmers,cooperatives + family farms,and analyzes the development status of Hainan banana industrial organizations combined with industrial organization theory and technical efficiency theory.Next,data envelopment analysis(DEA)method is used to measure and compare the technical efficiency of different banana industrial organizations,such as traditional banana growers,traditional banana family farms,cooperatives + farmers,cooperatives + family farms,and analyze the impact of cooperatives on the technical efficiency of banana growers and banana family farms;To evaluate whether the banana industrial organization inputs production factors reasonably and achieves the optimal operation scale;Tobit regression analysis model was established to analyze the influencing factors of technical efficiency of different banana industrial organizations.Finally,policy suggestions are put forward.The research results show that:(1)The traditional banana industry organization relies on its own planting experience and traditional planting methods for production and operation,and the insufficient conversion and utilization of new technologies leads to low comprehensive technical efficiency;(2)The banana industry organization has factor input redundancy,Traditional banana growers have the highest factor input redundancy rate;(3)The scale efficiency of banana industry organization is not high,the comprehensive technical efficiency of banana industry organization is below 0.7,and the low scale efficiency is an important reason;(4)Technical training,output value and cost have a significant impact on technical efficiency.In order to improve the technical efficiency of the banana industry organization,the following policy suggestions are put forward:(1)improve the organization level of the banana industry;(2)rationally input production factors to improve the management level of the banana industry organization;(3)strengthen the training and transformation of advanced production technology to improve The technical level of banana industry organization;(4)Reduce land transfer costs and improve scale efficiency.
