Energy is the foundation and driving force for the progress of human civilization.It has a bearing on the national economy,people's livelihood and national security.It has always been a fundamental,overall and strategic issue faced by human society.Guangxi is in a critical period of new-type industrialization and urbanization.It not only faces the widespread contradiction between energy supply and demand,but also faces the problems of weak wind power energy stability and the cost advantage of thermal power not in the region.In response to the above problems,combined with the current "dual control" goal and task of energy consumption in Guangxi,it is of practical significance to the study of energy efficiency in Guangxi.Through literature analysis,the paper summarized the existing methods of energy efficiency research,and decided to adopt an energy efficiency measurement method that meets the characteristics of energy consumption in Guangxi.Analyze the energy status of Guangxi from the two dimensions of time and space,and find that there are problems,and then use the K-Means clustering algorithm to group Guangxi cities.Then,the energy efficiency of 14 cities in Guangxi was measured with the help of the SBMDEA model.Finally,use Tobit to return to explore the factors that affect Guangxi's energy efficiency,and give suggestions to improve energy efficiency.Through analysis,we found the following conclusions:(1)The energy efficiency of Guangxi cities is more reasonable under the group division,and the energy efficiency level of Guangxi cities can be distinguished more reasonably.(2)There are temporal and spatial differences in energy efficiency in Guangxi.The time difference is manifested in: Guangxi's overall green total-factor energy efficiency is showing a good momentum,showing a clear and stable growth trend;spatial differences are manifested in: "High-consumption industrial cities are more efficient,the efficiency of mediumconsuming cities is average,low-consumption industrial equilibrium cities have lower efficiency".(3)Guangxi has energy-saving potential and energy-saving space.The energy-saving potential shows the characteristics of "The low-consumption industrial equilibrium group has the greatest potential,the medium-consumption industrial city group is evenly matched,and the high-consumption industrial city group has the least potential",and Chongzuo has become a "big energy-saving household."(4)Industrial structure and urbanization level have no significant impact on Guangxi's energy utilization efficiency.Only the level of economic development has a significant positive correlation with Guangxi's energy utilization efficiency,which has become a key factor in improving energy utilization efficiency in Guangxi.In response to these issues,this article gives the following suggestions: regional energy efficiency measurement research can refer to the group division method;formulate regionally specific energy efficiency targets;strengthen inter-regional supervision and management,formulate regional energy-saving targets,and shift the focus to low Consume cities;at the same time,weaken the government's direct intervention in energy resources,and gradually improve the level of regional economic development.
