| In this paper,a systematic classification study of the genus Belisana(Araneae:Pholcidae)distributed in China is carried out.Pholcidae C.L.Koch,1850,the ninth-largest spider family,with 1812 species in 94 genera worldwide.227 species of the family have been described from China.Before this research,122 species have been known worldwide and only 43 species had been recorded in China.Fifteen new species of the Belisana Thorell,1898 from China are described: B.bubeng Zhu & Li,2021(♂♀);B.guilin Yao & Li,2020(♂♀);B.maoer Yao & Li,2020(♂♀);B.medog Yao & Li,2020(♂);B.mengla Yao & Li,2020(♂♀);B.menglun Yao & Li,2020(♂);B.mengyang Yao & Li,2020(♂♀);B.muruo Yao & Li,2020(♂♀);B.naling Yao & Li,2020(♂♀);B.xiaolongha Zhu & Li,2021(♂);B.xigaze Yao & Li,2020(♂♀);B.xiyuan Yao & Li,2020(♂♀);B.xuanguan Yao & Li,2020(♂);B.yuexiu Yao& Li,2020(♂♀);B.zham Yao & Li,2020(♂).In addition,the female of B.gyirong Zhang,Zhu & Song,2006 is reported for the first time.This article also redrew and descripted 42 known species.This article also provides a distribution map of Belisana in China,a distribution forecast map and a key to Belisana in China.This research improves the species richness of the Belisana spiders in China from 43 to 58 hences enriching the known number of spider species in the country.This article also contains the detailed morphological figures,including 33 plates and 181 images of 15 new species and B.gyirong Zhang,Zhu & Song,2006,as well as 42 plates and 196 images of42 known species.In addition,the paper also provided photo of web,photos of living spiders and the morphological characteristics photos of Belisana habitus and pedipalps. |
