The genus Savarna Huber,2005 belongs to Family Pholcidae,Order Araneae,Class Arachnida.Five species of Savarna are known in the world, found in some Southeast Asian countries(Thailand,Malaysia and Indonesia). The genus Savarna was established relatively late, and there are few reports about it.In this paper, the morphological characteristics and the history of taxonomic studies of the Savarna are described in detail, and all species of Savarna are examined and identified by means of morphological taxonomy and phylogenetic analysis. The main results are as follows:1.Ten species of Savarna are reported in this paper.Among these, five known species are redescribed: S.kaeo,S.kraburiensis,S.miser,S.tessellate and S.thaleban, and five new species are published: S.bannang,S.chiangmai,S.huahin,S.satun and S.thungsong.This paper is provided classification key and 20 plates, with 119 photos of diagnosis characters of all species of Savarna. In addition, the simplified phylogenetic tree and genetic distance of 8 species of Savarna are provided, and the DNA sequences are uploaded to Gen Bank.2.Based on the geographic information of all species of Savarna,a geographic distribution map and a prediction map of the geographical distribution pattern of the genus are provided.3.Because of the great significance of trichobothrium in the prey and avoid the enemy, the number and distribution of trichobothrium in genus Savarna are systematically analyzed and compared. This paper is provided 10 plates, with 78 photos of the trichobothrium characteristics of males and females' leg I and leg II of all species of Savarna. In addition, the number and distribution of trichobothrium in Savarna are compared with those in different genera and differert families of the same functional group. The main results are as follows:(1)Comparison among species of Savarna: the number of trichobothrium are similar, the distribution of trichobothrium are the same, and the same habitat resulted in similar number and distribution of trichobothrium.(2)Comparison of Savarna with three species of genus Pholcus, one species of genus Belisana and one species of genus Crossopriza: the number of trichobothrium are similar, the distribution of trichobothrium are the same, and the similar habitat of Pholcidae resulted in similar number and distribution of trichobothrium.(3)Comparison of Savarna with two species of Theridiidae in the same functional group: the distribution of trichobothrium are the same, the number of trichobothrium is significantly different, and the habitat difference leads to the significant difference in the number of trichobothrium.
