Connecting-rod cracking technology has become the main processing method of connecting rod processing,because of the advantages of simple processing technology,high assembly quality,fast processing speed and low cost.The processing of cracking groove is the key process of the cracking technology,With the development of laser technology in recent years,the connecting rod cracking groove processed by laser has excellent appearance,which is beneficial to splitting expansion and fracture,and the laser processing has high efficiency,no tool wear,high precision and good processing consistency.Using laser machining cracking groove has gradually become the development direction of cracking groove machining of connecting rod.In our country,the development of laser processing cracking groove equipment for connecting rod started late,and most of the laser processing cracking groove equipment mainly depends on imports.Laser processing connecting rod splitting slot equipment is a sophisticated product of light,electricity and machine.The emphases and difficulties of developing laser processing connecting rod splitting slot equipment include the design of laser light path,laser head and connecting rod fixture.In this paper,the key technology and processing technology of fiber pulse laser proces sing connecting rod cracking groove equipment are studied,the main research contents incl ude the following aspects:(1)The technology of connecting rod splitting and the principle of laser processing sp litting groove are introduced,The pulse fiber laser is more suitable for the machining of the splitting groove of the connecting rod.(2)Design and develop double-position laser processing connecting rod cracking groove equipment with independent intellectual property rights.Adopting double station structure can save the waiting time of loading and unloading,improve the safety performance of the equipment;The laser incident angle is optimized,and the 0 ° incident angle is used for vertical processing,so that the laser reflection can be reduced,the energy can be saved,and 2-3 overlapping connecting rods can be processed at the same time,so as to improve the processing efficiency;The laser head is designed,including the structure of adjustable mirror frame,focusing mechanism and dimming fixture,which simplifies the adjustment of laser path and ensures the stability of laser transmission;A set of multi-function fixture with stable and reliable positioning is designed;According to the actual working conditions of laser equipment,the dust collection,gas path and electrical system are designed.(3)The main processing parameters of the equipment for laser processing cracking groove of connecting rod include the parameters of laser and mechanical equipment.The reasonable experimental scheme is designed according to the processing parameters,and the influence of the processing parameters on the quality of cracking groove is studied.Through the single factor experiment of laser processing parameters,it is found that the peak power,pulse width and pulse frequency of laser parameters have significant influence on the size of cracking groove,with the increase of laser parameters,the depth,width and curvature radius of cracking groove all increase,and the change of field angle is not obvious;As for the mechanical control parameters,with the increase of cutting speed,the depth and width of cracking groove decrease,the curvature radius increases,and the change of field angle is not obvious.When the negative defocusing is used,the depth of the cracking cell can be increased,so the negative defocusing position is usually chosen.(4)The effects of laser parameters on the depth,width,field angle and curvature radius are studied by orthogonal experiment.Through the range analysis,the factors influencing the depth of cracking groove are as follows: peak power > pulse width >cutting speed > pulse frequency;The factors influencing the width of pyrolysis tank are pulse width,peak power,cutting speed and pulse frequency;The factors influencing the field angle of pyrolysis cell are as follows: peak power > pulse width > cutting speed >pulse frequency;The factors influencing the curvature radius of cracking groove are as follows: cutting speed > peak power > pulse width > pulse frequency.According to the experimental results and the actual manufacturing process of connecting rod,a set of optimized process parameters are obtained with the depth of cracking cell as the optimization target: pulse frequency of 600 Hz,peak power of 700 W,cutting speed of1.5m/min,pulse width of 180 us,negative defocusing of 2mm and auxiliary gas of 0.5MPa compressed air.The groove depth is 0.582 mm,the groove width is 0.238 mm,and the field angle is 23.35 °,the radius of curvature is 19.86 um,and a good bulging effect is obtained.
