As the economy developed,construction enterprises have been developing very fast,so the competition in construction market is fierce.For the enterprise,the core work is to grab market shares,which relates to the existence of the copany.In fact,the magic weapon in the construction company is the high qualified marketing staff.The excellent characters in the marketing staff of DB Co.,Ltd.contribute a lot for the company.However,in recent years,DB Co.,Ltd.is lack in management for recruitment,selection,performance appraisal and training,which restricts the capacity of the marketing staff and causes damage to businesss result of the company.DB Co.,Ltd.realizes that the lack of outstanding marketing staff will lose competition advantages.The competency theory of human resource management brings a new management point for the marketing staff of DB Co.,Ltd.and gives a guaidance to achie ve competition advantages.Based on the competency theory,this article adopts formal development aproach to build the marketing staff competency model applying for DB Co.,Ltd.according to the actual situation of DB Co.,Ltd.The article is divided into six chapters.The first chapter is the introduction part.It is consist of the research background,research significate,research content and major research method.The second chapter is the competency theory outline part including the meaning,component,category,and identification method of compentency.In the third chapter,it is the overview of DB Co.,Ltd.in which part it introduces the organization structure,business scope,condition of human resource,state of operation for DB Co.,Ltd.The fourth chapter is to consitruction the competency model for the marketing staff in DB Co.,Ltd.In this part,on the basis of the enterprise strategy and the marketing staff status of DB Co.,Ltd.,it designs the items of the questionnaire to give a pretest,then performing the official questionnaire to issue.After the data collection for questionnaire,it uses SPSS to analyze the reliability,validity,and factor.After naming the factors,it obtains the competency model for marketing staff of DB Co.,Ltd.At last,it uses AMOS to verify the model.The fifth chapter is to design the application plan of the competency model for recruiting,selecting,evaluating,and training for the marketing staff of DB Co,Ltd.The sixth chapter is the conclusion and outlook.In this part,it summarizes this research and finds the inadequacy.
