Due to the uncontrolled development and utilization of fossil energy,the reserves are declining,at the same time,a series of environmental problems are caused.Therefore,the importance of developing clean and renewable energy is becoming increasingly prominent.As a new renewable energy source,ocean energy has the characteristics of huge reserves,clean and pollution-free.In addition,China has a long coastline and the vast ocean contains rich ocean energy resources.Therefore,attaching importance to ocean energy development is to ensure Chinese energy security.Located on the southeast coast of China,Fujian has a vast sea area,a long winding coastline,and rich ocean energy resources including wave energy.How to reasonably develop and utilize the wave energy resources in this area has become an important issue for the sustainable development of the region.Firstly,this paper analyzes the measured wave data at multiple stations in a typical area of Fujian,and summarizes the overall wave characteristics of the Fujian sea area.The coastal of Fujian are dominated by third-level waves from north to south.In summer,under the influence of the southwest monsoon,the wave direction turns to the south.In the other seasons,the normal and sub-normal wave directions are both northeast and east.Annual average period T_mis about 4 s.This paper uses water flow simulation software sms to establish the unstructured terrain grid of the entire Taiwan Strait,and then nests the refined unstructured terrain grid of Fujian sea area.Driven by the Holland compound wind field,MIKE 21 SW is used to build a numerical calculation model for calculating the regional wave field from 2011 to 2012,and calculate the wave height,period,wave direction,wave energy power density and other elements.Comparing and verifying with the measured wave data of related sites,the results show that the wave field simulated by MIKE 21SW is more reliable.Based on this numerical model,this paper analyzes the temporal and spatial distribution of wave energy power density in Fujian sea area and the stability of wave energy.The results show that in time,the effective wave height and wave energy power density in this sea area have obvious seasonal characteristics:large in autumn and winter,and small in spring and summer.In terms of space,the overall wave energy power density in the coastal waters of Fujian is in the usable range,and the large value area appears in the sea north of the Chongwu Estuary.The coefficient of variation of wave energy power density is lower than 1 throughout the year,and the stability in winter is the best.Therefore,China can focus on the development of wave energy construction in Fujian.
