Research On Production Efficiency Evaluation Of Construction Enterprises Based On DEA-Malmquist

In recent years,the total output value of the construction industry has been rising continuously,and the number of employees has exceeded 50 million.The vigorous development of the construction industry still can't hide the unbalanced development of production efficiency and the existence of resource waste in construction enterprises.The existence of these phenomena affects the improvement of production efficiency and the healthy development of construction enterprises.Therefore,this thesis uses the DEA-Malmquist method to select fixed assets-net value,operating costs,total assets and the number of employees as input indicators,and net profit,operating revenue and return on equity as output indicators.Calculate and analyze the production efficiency,pure technical efficiency,scale efficiency and total factor productivity of 56 construction enterprises from 2016 to 2019.An analysis of the redundancy of input and output of ineffective enterprises shows that the production efficiency of construction enterprises shows a trend of first decreasing and then increasing.The mean value during the calculation period is 0.883.The greater contribution rate to production efficiency is scale efficiency,the mean scale efficiency is 0.943,but 65.63% of enterprises are in diminishing scale.status.During the calculation period of pure technical efficiency,there were slight fluctuations,the mean value is 0.937 slightly lower than the scale efficiency and 26.79% of construction enterprises reached the best pure technical efficiency.From the perspective of dynamic analysis,the average total factor productivity is 1.021,the total factor productivity of more than half of the enterprises exceeds 1,indicating that the production efficiency of most construction enterprises is increasing year by year.And the reason for the improvement of total factor productivity is mainly contributed by the change index of technological progress.On the basis of this result,the following suggestions are put forward to improve the production efficiency of construction enterprises: strengthen technological innovation and increase production efficiency;improve the level of production management of the enterprise;improve the quality of enterprise employees,optimize the management team;optimize the industrial structure,and increase scale efficiency.
