| Basic surveying and mapping is a fundamental and antecedent work in the development of national economy and society.It is an important means to accurately grasp the national strength and improve the level of management and decision-making.The rapid development of social economy puts forward higher requirements of concurrency for basic surveying and mapping and updating.It is urgent to have a timely,accurate and efficient new model of planning basic surveying and mapping,so as to realize the transformation from "planned surveying and mapping" to "on-demand surveying and mapping".It is a prerequisite to grasp the changing characteristics and driving mechanism of surveying and mapping geographical features.In this paper,Zhejiang Province is taken as the research area,and the feature of residential area is taken as the research object.The two versions of the map data in 2018 and 2019 from “Map World Zhejiang” are selected,and the changes of residential area features are extracted firstly;then the spatial distribution pattern of residential area features changes in Zhejiang Province is studied systematically with "district and county" as the statistical unit;finally,the changes of residential area features are detected and identified through correlation analysis social and economic driving forces.The main contributions of this paper are as follows:1)A method is proposed for extracting feature changes of residential area features considering geometric shape characteristics.In the experimental data,there are many "pseudo changes" caused by systematic errors or cartographic generalization,and the shape characteristics of the "pseudo changes" are quite different from the real changes.In this paper,"pseudo variation" is eliminated based on shape features such as compactness.The experimental results show that the method is intuitive and effective,and the recognition accuracy is 92%.2)It is found that the spatial distribution density of the changes of residential area features in Zhejiang Province is significantly different,and has obvious spatial autocorrelation in spatial distribution.No matter in high value area or low value area,the spatial distribution characteristics of the changes of residential area features in each district and county show that the areas with similar change scale tend to aggregate in space.3)It is found that different socio-economic indicators have different driving effects on the changes of residential area features.The change mode of residential area features reflects the trend and characteristics of social and economic changes;conversely,the development and changes of social economy drive the changes of residential area features.The development of the secondary industry is the main driving force of the change of the residential area in Zhejiang Province;the development of the tertiary industry and the government public investment have a negative driving effect on the change of the residential area.This paper explains the changing characteristics and driving mechanism of residential areas from the perspective of social economy,which can provide a reference for making a reliable and efficient production plan of surveying and mapping operations and realizing "on-demand surveying and mapping",and has practical significance for guiding the actual surveying and mapping production to optimize the allocation of existing resources and economic benefits. |
