Xinjiang's cities are typical oasis cities,and the geographical distance between cities is relatively long.Railways,as the main transportation options for Xinjiang,also play an important role in supporting the population flow and economic development of cities along the Xinjiang Railway.Especially after the “Belt and Road”initiative was put forward,Xinjiang has become an important part of the “Belt and Road” initiative.This article selects Kashi,as the starting point from Artush City,Bachu County,Aksu City,Xinhe County,Kuqa County,Luntai County,Korla City,Qi County,Urumqi City,Turpan City,from west to east of Xinjiang.Thirteen major stations and cities(counties)including Hami City are used as research objects.Based on traffic accessibility,the city's size and economic level are first divided by calculating the central function intensity index,and then a potential model is introduced to calculate traffic accessibility and economics.Contact strength,analysis of urban spatial differences and economic connections along the Xinjiang Railway.Finally,the influencing factors of the traffic accessibility of the cities along the Xinjiang Railway along the economic links were studied,and a linear model was established to quantitatively analyze the influence mechanism of the traffic accessibility on the economic connections of the cities along the Xinjiang Railway along the lines.The results show: First,through the study of the city size and economic grade of the cities in the Xinjiang Railway Research Area,it can be found that Urumqi's economic status and economic radiation ability are very high,but from a regional perspective,Xinjiang's large area makes Urumqi alone.This point is not enough.To focus on the development of other cities in the region,such as Kashgar,can well drive the economic growth of western Xinjiang,and Hami can also promote the development of eastern Xinjiang,forming a core,multi-focus economy Development trend.Second,by calculating traffic accessibility through the potential model,it can be seen that the decay effect considering distance is in line with theactual situation in Xinjiang.Through the calculation of the strength of economic linkage,we can see that Xinjiang's economic development still has a lot of room for improvement,and due to the advancement of urbanization,the development of cities with larger cities and smaller cities has uneven characteristics.Although some cities(counties)have better geographical locations,there may be situations in which the strength of economic ties is not high.Third,through the fitting results of the linear regression model,it can be seen that the level of accessibility still plays a very important role in promoting the strength of economic relations.To improve the economic relations between cities,it is necessary to improve the level of accessibility.In addition,we must increase investment in fixed assets and expand the population size of cities.At the same time,we must not ignore the negative effects of large cities' economic development on other cities.We should strengthen exchanges,promote complementary advantages,and maximize development benefits.
