Coastal cities with the special coastal zone possess superior natural conditions, contain both land and marine advantages, which ecosystem is precious and fragile.Human are having more growing activities around coastal zone;space regulation is used to protect the ecology and resources of the coastal zone and promote importance of sustainable development are being concerned by scholars from various fields.Based on the GIS method and the advanced InVEST model in the field of ecological assessment, this study is based on the spatial and temporal evolution of land use types in the Beihai,Fangchenggang, and Qinzhou cities along the coast of the Beibu Gulf.Quantitative research on carbon storage, degradation, habitat quality and other aspects, comprehensive assessment and hierarchical delineation;further identification and analysis of space regulation issues in coastal and inland areas of coastal cities, and condensed space regulation measures and policy recommendations. The main contents and results of the study are followed:(1)The characteristics of spatial and temporal evolution of regional land use. With the help of GIS,comprehensively use quantitative statistics, spatial analysis,LUCC rate, and LUCC transfer matrix to systematically qualitatively and temporally study LUCC from the time and space dimensions in the study area from 2010 to2015.Quantitative analysis combined with subsequent research.(2)Use InVEST model to measure and the spatial and temporal evolution of ecosystem services.Three levels of carbon storage, habitat degradation, and habitat quality were selected, and ecosystem service assessment was carried out from the dimensions of support and regulation functions, and the above results were comprehensively scored and spatially classified. The results showed that the degree of habitat degradation in the study area was low and the quality of the habitat was good, but a certain degree of decline occurred during the study period.the five ecological divisions were divided by the comprehensive score, and the score was higher than 2.71.Grade ecological area accounts for 46.99%of the total area of the region. The first-level zone is mainly distributed in Shangsi County and Fangcheng District of Fangchenggang City, and the secondlevel zone is concentrated in a small amount of broken forest land in Qinnan District and Fangchenggang City of Qinzhou City. The third-level zone mainly includes water bodies,sea-land intercontinental coastal areas, and cultivated land in the central and southern regions; The fourth-level area is other land and a small part of the water body, scattered in various jurisdictions;the fifth-level area is mainly urban built-up areas.(3)Identification and analysis of coastal urban space control issues, and put forward policy recommendations.Analyze the key issues of coastal urban space control by coastal zone and land zone, and put forward policy recommendations from three levels: system construction, technology and public participation.
