With the increasing requirement of radar stealth in the modern war,wave absorption of plasma,as a new type of stealth technique,is becoming more and more attentive.However the key to implement this technology is high density plasma from plasma generator.So,the main contents of this parer are as following:(1)Much research was done on the relationship between the plasma parameters and traditional factors affecting gas discharge including discharge power,air pressure and distance between electrodes.The results show that the optimal combination of values of the power and air pressure can make plasma density reach 1.68×1012cm-3with electronic temperature6 e V.Also,the electrodes after nano-processing or the mixed gas can effectively improve the plasma parameters and even the plasma density can be increased by double.(2)Using the software named PEGASUS simulate the behavior of plasma in cavity and get the value of plasma density in Ar-Hg(0.1%)discharge tube with 2×1011cm-3.All these can not only test the effectiveness of data but also give the direction for further experiments.(3)Using WKB method to explore the influence of plasma density,collision frequency,plasma layer thickness and electromagnetic wave incident angle on the electromagnetic wave attenuation.The results show that the greater plasma density within a certain range,the more thick of plasma layer do the more significance to the absorbing attenuation;Plasma collision frequency shows the different performances in low frequency and high frequency;And the incident angle of electromagnetic has an obvious effect on the electromagnetic damping,also,a perfect angle with best absorption exists.The results and research methods in this paper can prove the feasibility of closed-plasma in stealth area and also provide a good reference on how to improve the plasma density.
