The Tarim Basin is the largest petroliferous basin in our country,while the Northern Tarim Basin is the area where the most oil and gas has been found.Due to the difficulty in prospection and high prospection costs,new technologies such as fast,efficient,and economical microbial prospection for oil and gas are becoming increasingly important.Therefore,for the characteristics of the soil and microorganisms in the Northern Tarim Basin,relevant oil and gas detection studies are carried out,which has important theoretical and practical significance for improving the oil and gas exploration efficiency and reducing costs in the Tarim Basin.In this study,the known petroliferous regions in the Northern Tarim Basin were selected as the experimental block,and the oil and gas microbial detection technique suitable for the Northern Tarim Basin was used as the main research method.The abnormal characteristics of the soil edaphon were taken as the object of study,and the prediction of the oil and gas favorable zone in the north area of Shun Bei No.8 well was taken as purpose.A series of experiments and analysis were conducted under the above conditions.In the process of this study,a total of 374 soil samples are collected.Aiming at the characteristics of low microbial content in the soil samples of the desert in the Northern Tarim Basin,three suitable oil and gas microbial detection techniques are established to lay a technical foundation for the extraction of microbial information in the oilbearing areas and the evaluation of abnormal characteristics.By means of comparing those 482 samples,it was verified that the correlation between oil and gas distribution and the abnormal distribution of methane oxidizing bacteria and butane oxidizing bacteria was good,especially butane oxidizing bacteria.The 16 Sr RNA sequencing method was used to identify a total of 38 soil microbial species in the Northern Tarim Basin.The dominant bacteria of methane oxidizing bacteria were methylobacterium,ralstonia pickettii and pseudomonas.The dominant bacteria of butane oxidizing bacteria were Nocard and rhodococcus.14 species culture collection was established.Without condition of culture,all microbial genome in 211 soil samples were extracted directly.By high-throughput analysis,the first ten microorganism in the Northern Tarim Basin were found out,and five potential indicator microorganisms were discovered.The analysis of relative abundance and community structure characteristics of oil and gas indicating microorganisms was also conducted.Through comparative studies with the combination of microbial anomaly characteristics,species diversity characteristics,and community structure characteristics with the characteristics of seismic coherence bodies in the area,it can be inferred that there are 4 potential prediction of the oil and gas favorable zones in the north area of Shun Bei No.8 well.In the western part of the unknown area,the abnormal value of the microorganism is high and it is with high potential of oil and gas.
