Structural interpretation, mapping of varying velocity and the research of probe targets are the emphasizes of an area in Tarim Basin at present, in order to intensify a whole geology understanding about an area of Tarim Basin. By seismic processing and the research of integrated interpretation, we make great progress of the quality of seismic data and imaging results, and lay the foundation for further study.In this paper, we demarcate seismic geological horizons by seismic recordings and VSPLOG data, unify the layers in the area via combining area material, E、 Tt、Tc and Ts four layers are treated as symbol layers of the explanation in the whole area at the same time. By interpretation of conventional seismic data and combining previous understandings of the fracture in the region, we further rationalize the characteristics of the fracture in the study area:the faults of Hade area mainly spread in nearly north-south; this fault formed in early Hercynian and terminated activities in the last stage of Hercynian. The faults of Yihe area are densely distributed, the spreading direction are mainly south-north, secondly nearly east-west, are formed in end of Caledonian and terminated in early Hercynian. The faults of Juema-Grass Lake region spread in south-north and extended longer length.Igneous rocks of the Permian in an area are developed and large impact on the speed. Therefore fine-grained igneous and control horizontal trend by the velocity field and control the longitudinal velocity by drillings, combing of seismic and log to establish accurate velocity field of igneous, thus get the thickness of basalt, andesitic and acidic eruptive rock respectively, get a complete thickness map of igneous by accumulating. Then we obtain the thickness maps of different intervals underlying igneous by average speed of layers. Finally, we obtain the structure map of the target layer by accumulating thickness. We predict the distribution of sandstone by combining seismic attribute analysis and inversion technique and determine the favorable reservoir further. Finally we confirm the shape of structures and find nine,and find out that the area has north-south bandings, east-west sub-structures.The research of this paper is closely related with the production practice. During the research we evaluate the respective targets in the work area through combing structural characteristics and the prediction results of favorable reservoir, proposed three fair-weather drilling positions, recommend to acquisition of three dimensional data in key positions and ensure successful drilling.The article systematically summary the development characteristics of igneous rocks, the idea and method of variable velocity mapping by accumulating thickness,combining with seismic attribute analysis and seismic inversion techniques to predict the favorable reservoirs, it will lay a foundation for the next exploration and development.
