| what remains is a thesis exhibition that explores the aging mind and body, the concurrent emotional turmoil, and ideas of mortality through sculptural works and video. I use materials such as genuine pigskin, leather and fur, and rusted metal objects as communication devices for this work. I deconstruct and reconstruct the materials to create work that demonstrates these ideas. Memories and personal life experiences thus far are the inspiration behind this exhibition. |
