This thesis examines computer applications for students in the humanities. Computers and their operation are introduced, along with explanations of basic computer applications including word processing, databases and electronic communications. The role of computers in various humanities disciplines, including literary studies, language studies, drama, music, fine art and history, is also surveyed.
