Analysis and recommendations for improvement for the traffic safety and operations of the Texas A&I University campus and adjacent city of Kingsville arterials

This thesis analyzes existing traffic safety and operations in the Texas A&I University campus and recommends operational and geometric improvements to be implemented throughout the campus and the adjacent City of Kingsville major street arterials. These recommendations will enhance the smooth flow of traffic and improve the traffic safety by reducing the accident frequency and severity. They include the following: improved traffic signal timing plans for the existing signalized intersection of Armstrong Street with Santa Gertrudis Avenue, signalization plans to upgrade the existing signals and also geometric changes on campus and city streets.
