| With the continuous expansion of the development of university and college campuses, college campuses more and more like the size of a small city, so the need to create a campus image from the viewpoint of the theory of urban imagery, from the road, regional nodes, markers and analyze and study the boundary line in these five areas. I hope to integrate the environmental space of city image into the campus planning of University, explore ways to create a good campus image for users. This paper is based on the theory of city image as the main guide, from the perspective of city image theory, on the basis of the five elements of city image, combine the five elements of the university campus environment to form the campus image. Firstly, this paper introduces the extension and application of the content and methods of the urban image theory, briefly analyzes the difference between the image of the university campus and the city image. Analyses the necessity and importance of city image theory of university campus planning, using the method of field investigation, questionnaire and cognitive map to investigate, organize and extract the image of the main campus of Hebei University of Engineering, research on the present situation image of the main campus of Hebei University of Engineering. Starting from the five elements of city image, on the current situation of the road, area, node and landmark and boundary line are analyzed and summarized. To extract the image elements of the main campus of Hebei University of Engineering, and construct the campus image system, analysis of the advantages and disadvantages of the status quo, put forward some appropriate suggestions for improvement, and carries on the optimization and the transformation to the campus key area image. In this paper, based on the theory of city image, combined with field research and analysis, and the campus image of the main campus of Hebei University of Engineering to create their own suggestions, I hope that the research results of this paper can provide a new perspective for the planning and design of University Campus, and provide valuable theoretical basis for the construction and planning of the university campus in the future. |
