The study revealed human resource professionals in the Nevada gaming industry do experience meaningful work and each of the variables were positively correlated with meaningful work. Sense of community was the only variable which accounted for any variance in the experience of meaningful work in this sample population. The study reviews the changing nature of work, the spiritual awakening contributing to the increased interest in meaningful work, and discusses how meaningful work may contribute to a competitive advantage for an industry with declining revenues and increased threats of stability. | | Keywords/Search Tags: | Meaningful work, Human resource professionals, Nevada gaming industry | PDF Full Text Request | Related items |
