Development of a human resource model based on the business entity process. An application of the logistics systems

Abstract/Summary:
The existing relationship between workers who collaborate in a business entity and the real entity itself appears in the moment that the relationship is generated, independently of the kind of entity and the relationship established between them.;The personnel, who want to grow, have to be trained for the level and tasks they have to work with and at the same time, they must have specified all the functions, places, equipment, times and information needed to do the work properly and in time.;All these requirements establish a Human Resource Model, focused on the process that have to be done for each member of the business entity, and this is the main goal that support this research.;As a result of this investigation, a Human Resource Model will be obtained, which will generate some specifications about questions as What?, How?, Who?, When?, Where?, and Why?, that every member of the business entity has to make, and in particular the application of everything to the logistics area, obtaining in that way, a particular modes for the logistics process development.;Therefore, this Thesis shows in its first part a generic view for any business entity, and the second part is based on an application of the generated model to the logistics systems.;The main aim of this research is to elaborate a generic Human Resource Model, which allows the organisations of the business entities on the basis of the processes they work on.;Finally, another aim, that can be appointed, is the identification of the logistic business that fix in the propose model. In order to check it, some applications of the model will be done to the different types of logistics business: logistics operators, production organisation, and commercial distribution companies.;The conclusion could be divided in two groups: on the one hand, the model conclusions, where the results obtained in the theoretical research are analysed, and on the other one, the conclusions of validation process, that check the strength of the purposed Human Resource model from the answers during the visits and interviews with logistics personnel.
