Abstract/Summary:
Intelligent File Sharing Framework supports a fully decentralized, distributed, peer-to-peer file sharing system. To enhance the network scalability, I developed a new grouping mechanism, so that it minimizes usage of network bandwidth and increases scalability of a decentralized network. To fix the anonymous problem in the Gnutella protocol, I developed a new IP-clue algorithm, which provides anonymity in a queryHit packet of Gnutella by encoding IP address field in the packet. The new file association rules and combined relationship hierarchy structure in Intelligent File Sharing Framework are used to provide more flexible query mechanism to end users, so that it provides various query mechanism to the users. Our experimental results show that the Intelligent File Sharing Framework provides better network scalability, an enhanced anonymity, and more flexible query mechanism, comparing with the current systems similar to Gnutella.
