A survey of two different methods for the analyses of uncertain dynamical systems is presented. As uncertainty may be formulated a number of different ways, so goes the analyses. Stochastic systems, switched and hybrid systems, a class of nonlinear systems, and parametric systems are examined. Some caveats and comparisons are drawn in the use of each technique for their respective uncertain systems. Several journal and conference papers have been produced from this work, and these are remarked. Numerical examples are also provided for both the time-domain and frequency-domain techniques. |
