| The aim of the thesis is obtaining an integration model among the already existing, able to define a National Innovation System and applying it to the Spanish Innovation System, identifying the actors that take part in the same, focusing the attention on their relationships and characterizing the dynamic interaction between them. From the concept of net relationship, the relationship between the elements of the system is analysed, so much from qualitative perspective (relationships and established interactions) a quantitative (indicators with the capacity for measuring the model), arriving to the proposal of a model for the Spanish Innovation System. Initially and after a theoretical review of the innovation, technology and R+D concepts, their role in the innovation process is analysed, checking the different models that have been proposed, emphasizing the competitiveness concept a fundamental and intrinsic element to the innovation in the entrepreneurial world and, by extension, to the nation where this one is developed. The concept of Innovation System is analysed studying the different existing theoretical contributions until nowadays and checking their situation in the bosom of the European Union from the panorama of the innovation development European programs. |
