Abstract/Summary:
The purpose of this thesis is to identify principles and strategies that will enable providers of real estate and accommodation services to build social capital with both their internal and external stakeholders and by so doing, provide real estate and accommodation alternatives that are based on collaboration and result in integrated, flexible, cost-effective and environmentally sound solutions. In essence, the study is designed to demonstrate that while there are many factors that contribute to the successful delivery of real estate and accommodation services, one of the primary factors is the connections that people make with one another.; In order to establish this point, this thesis will focus on the engagement of stakeholders from the onset of the service delivery process including a means by which to identify their personal values and visions as they relate to the accommodation that they will by delivering and occupying.
