ypically, reverberation is treated, at least implicitly, in a deep-water context in which it is assumed that a distinctly and separable multipath propagation is involved and where high frequencies are used. Blind application of high-frequency to low-frequency reverberation in shallow water is dangerous because the dominant physical mechanism can change from one medium to the other. This work intends to describe the reverberation decay in some shallow water regions in order to infer the laws that apply to that particular environment.
